Derrick's first day of Kindergarten.

Derrick was so ready for this day. He had a blast and told me that he wanted to stay in kindergarten forever.

Better Late than never

Evelynn is 2! She turned 2 in July and she got a new bike.

Preschool Grad

Derrick has graduated!!!!! I am so proud of my baby boy!!!!

Along with his diploma Derrick won an award of Excellence for being the "most serious". It totally fits him.

Derrick has graduated preschool and is ready for kindergarten. We love his preschool. They are also our day care. They had a big bbq and bounce houses and the kids did a little singing for the parents. It was so fun.

Play Ball!!!!

The Johnson family has been immersed in sports the last two months and it has been fun, challenging, and COLD. What we parents do for our kids:)

Derrick's soccer team. They were a hoot to watch. Derrick was very timid to attack the ball at the beginning, but at the end of the season he improved a ton.Soccer is fun but oh so cold for the spectators.Carter was able to have his dad as his soccer coach. Carter is so good at soccer. I think that it is his sport until he is introduced to basketball of course. He did great. He is the fastes runner on the team. Derrick's team was very big. With lots of personality. There team name is Inferno and their cheer goes like this; Don't touch us cause we're hot hot hot. Gooooooooo Infterno. So cute in little kids voices

Derrick played T ball. His games always held surprises. Derrick hit the ball well and knows the right direction to run the bases. He had a blast. I can't say enough about Carter's coach. He was amazing. Very positive and knowledgable about the game. He stayed calm at all times and made a special effort to praise each and every boy on the team. He is the one in the middle. Fantastic coach!!!!Carter did pretty good this season. This was Carter's first try at baseball. They had machine pitch. He needs to practice a lot more on his swing, but he fully understands the game and that is good.

Easter

We had a great Easter. Tyson really had to step up his game because I had to work the weekend. Sunday he made an amazing ham dinner that we shared with some friends of ours. We had fun. Saturday was the easter egg hunt for the kids. They had a great time. Carter and Derrick were little gentlemen and left all the easy eggs for Evelynn and her friend to get. It was so cute.

Silly Girl

Evelynn is turning out to be such a goof ball. She is so cute and she finds the most funny ways to entertain herself. I say funny because she laughs at herself constantly. She is so fun to have around the house. She cacks up the boys too.

I am not sure why she thinks this is fun. She will walk around with her precious blankie and run into walls. She thinks it is so funny.

Christmas

One of Derrick's gifts was a T-shirt from his Karate class. He was so happy! You can't tell in the pic but he really was. I have it so easy! This is what Tyson's Christmas wish every year!

My holiday to work this year was Christmas so the fam opened gifts Christmas eve and then patiently waited for me to get off Christmas day so we could go to Grandma Castillo's house. There we found Uncle Alex and Uncle Leigh and his family. We had a great time and got great gifts!!!!! I have to say my fav was a photograph of my grandparents when they were first married in black and white. My brother and his wife introduced us to Settlers of Catan and we had a blast playing it. We had a great Christmas.
